Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) based on industrial effluents:

The textile processing industries produce wastewater containing suspended solids, large amount of dissolved solids, unreacted dyestuffs, recalcitrant organics, toxicants, inhibitory compounds, surfactants, chlorinated compounds (AOX- Adsorbable Organohalogens), and other chemicals that are used in different stages of dyeing, washing and other processing.

We Design, Manufacture, Supply, Erect and Commission Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) on Turnkey basis for various types and natures of wastewaters, effluents for the removal of organic, inorganic, oil and grease, heavy metals, suspended solids, etc.

We offer different technologies for ETP in-cooperation with our European and Japanese Principals.

  • Conventional Activated Sludge Process (ASP) Biological ETP: This is the most common and oldest biotreatment process used to treat municipal and industrial wastewater. Typically, wastewater after primary treatment i.e. suspended impurities removal is treated in an activated sludge process based biological treatment system comprising aeration tank followed by secondary clarifier. Effluent treatment with the biological method is cost-effective compared to other methods because of least operation and maintenance cost due to very low chemical consumption, low labor cost, less sludge treatment, and disposal cost. The sludge generated in biological treatment is recycled back as bio medium. This recycle ratio maintains Mixed Liquid Suspended Solids of biological treatment. This technology, however, is very tedious as it takes a very long time to stabilize the MLSS so it takes large space to set-up and it cannot handle toxic shock loads.
  • Conventional Bio-chemical ETP: It is a combination of Chemical and Biological treatment in order to handle high inorganic load, colour and toxic shock loads. Addition of coagulant and flocculant chemicals to the wastewater to bring about changes in its quality. Coagulation refers to collecting the minute solid particles dispersed in a liquid into a larger mass. Chemical coagulants like Al2 (SO4)3 {also called alum} or Fe2 (SO4)3 are added to wastewater to improve the attraction among fine particles so that they come together and form larger particles called flocs. A chemical flocculent (usually a polyelectrolyte) enhances the flocculation process by bringing together particles to form larger flocs, which settle out more quickly. Flocculation is aided by gentle mixing which causes the particles to collide.
  • Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) ETP: Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) processes improve reliability, simplify operation, and require less space than traditional wastewater treatment systems. MBBR technology employs thousands of polyethylene biofilm carriers operating in mixed motion within an aerated wastewater treatment basin. This free-floating media is used which houses active biomass. We design and supply MBBR technology which is widely used, advanced high rate wastewater treatment process. It is energy conserving due to use of High efficiency advanced diffused aeration system. The media used in the process is durable and of high surface area. This is easy to operate and easy to upgrade system without any Civil Modification in existing plant.
  • Membrane Bio-reactor (MBR) ETP: A membrane bioreactor is essentially a version of the conventional activated sludge (CAS) system. While the CAS process uses a secondary clarifier or settlement tank for solid/liquid separation, an MBR uses a UF or Micro-filtration membrane for this function. This provides a number of advantages relating to process control and product water quality, such as High-Quality Effluent, Small Footprint, better Biotreatment, etc.  This technology can be also used to upgrade system without or little Civil Modification in existing plant.
